Park

So, I took the kiddos to the park today. We HAD to get out of the house. It was such a beautiful day. We found "our spot" under "our" favorite shade tree. All 4 of us ate lunch together and watched the geese, the ducks, and the squirrels. There was a funny man there (we'll call him Squirrel Man) who was feeding the squirrels on a park bench. They would hop up right next to him on the bench and eat right out of his hand. I think he was feeding them cheesy poofs. Probably not the healthiest choice, but they sure liked them! It was the funniest thing. I wanted to take a pic, but thought it was rude. After all, there was a lady there taking pictures of my three. WHAT lady, never seen three babies before? Ha ha ha. If she would have been creepy, I would have asked her to not take their picture......nicely. But she was a non-creepy mom. So, a day without taking pictures of the stooges is unheard of. So, I've included some of the ones I just took today in this post. The first four look like the same pic, but check out Nolan. He's quite the little ham!!!

Sisters

Going through some pics and came across this one. I just love this picture. Had to share, again but this time in B&W. I act like I've got all the time in the world.......there's SO much I could be doing right now, kiddos are sleeping. But what am I doing???? I am playing around with pics! ARgh. No wonder my house is always such a disaster : ) Hugs and kisses to everyone.

Our First Playdate - At Our House

Our new friend, Ben, came over the other day for our first play date at our "crib". We had a blast......Ben is just 12 days older than we are. He lives right up the road from us. Can't wait until the next time we get to play together!!!

9 Month Dr. Appointment

Kiddos went to the doctor last week. Everyone is doing great. All healthy! Nolan's eczema had been getting worse. So bad it would wake him up in the middle of the night. So, they tested Nolan for allergies a couple weeks ago. They found he has a low allergy to dogs, moderate to eggs and a high peanut allergy. It's very uncommon for dog allergies to show up with skin problems, it's more respiratory related, and the doctor said he was fine as far as that goes. So, we don't have to get rid of our puppies at this point and time. So, it's the egg and peanut allergies that were causing his skin problems. Obviously, we don't give him anything with egg or peanuts in it, so he was getting it through my breast milk. I have stopped giving him breast milk and he is a new baby! His skin looks great and he has stopped itching (for the most part). He still itches when he's tired, but I think it's because he's tired and that's his "thing". It should take about 2 weeks for the egg and peanut products/by products to get out of my system and I can start breastfeeding my boy again. I can't wait! I miss it like crazy!!!! I really dislike my stinkin' breast pump! Kate is doing great and so is Ali! I've started giving them more things like crackers, cheerios and yogurt! They love the Yo Baby Yogurt. They're getting so big!

We couldn't ask for healthier, beefier babies! We are blessed beyond belief! It makes us so happy and we thank God everyday for these wonderful blessings.

Spaghetti

Okay, so I thought I'd try to give the kiddos something with a little more consistency (and meat). Did they like it? Yeah, not so much! Here are a few faces they made when I'd give them spaghetti and meat sauce. Nolan was hilarious! Kate is starting to like it a little more. Ali just gags and throws it up!

Looking for Convertible Car Seats

What are the best rated car seats out there as far as safety? I'm looking for comments on high priced, medium priced and low priced convertible car seats. The stooges are getting so big, we're going to need new car seats here shortly! Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Good Bye Old "Friend"

So, I was cleaning out the fridge the other day (yes, I do clean sometimes) and I came across an old "friend". This friend and I had kind of a love/hate relationship. I loved it because it made it possible for me to have my three beautiful children......on the other hand I hated it because it was a needle and I didn't like the way it made me feel. Waaa, right? I bet all of you non Follistim pen users are wondering why I am just now throwing it away..........it has been in my fridge since March 2008. I knew it was in there......I just couldn't make myself pick it up and throw it away..........until the other day. I am so proud of myself! I have heard from several other women who have had to use Follistim - they too had a difficult time "letting go". Tell me YOUR Follistim story. I bet some of you out there still have your Follistim pen as well as other drugs left you are not ready to part with!!!

HELLO Bradley Cooper!

Okay, one word......HOT. Diane waited in line for over 2 hours after a 12 hour shift and look who she got to throw her arms around. Bradley Cooper. He is so good looking. They make a really cute couple too! Diane looks great!!! We miss her so much, but it's great to see that smile again! We love you Aunt D!!!!!!

Black and White Photos

I've realized (finally) that some pics are meant to be black and white and some aren't. I like to photograph the kiddos when they're not looking at the camera. You just can't get the full effect of their blue eyes with a black and white photo : )
