Remember THIS POST? I was bored and on bedrest and I spilled the beans on things you probably didn't know about me.....this is part two and I need your help! This time I want YOU to tell me at least one thing most people don't know about you! And while we're on the subject, here are a few more......
I've jumped out of a moving car to avoid a grasshopper
I still like animals better than people
I've never stolen anything
I love cream cheese
I would do anything for my children
I love being a mom and can't imagine life any other way
I would rather email/text than talk on the phone
I love Days of Our Lives
I love it when my parents come stay with us and I'm sad when they're not here
I (almost always) have a messy house
I still love my dogs but they don't get enough attention anymore
I haven't taken a shower or brushed my teeth today (yet)
I secretly would love to have one more boy.....but it's not happening
I have fed my children cheese and crackers for dinner before
I still love hip hop music and don't care what you think :)
I have a crush on Johnny Knoxville
I am addicted to Facebook and Blogging
I am addicted to my children
I still drive like an old person
I love the smell of rubbing alcohol
I am horrible with driving directions
I am still deathly scared of spiders and flying things that sting
I need a tummy tuck and smaller boobs
I like Kate Gosselin
I did not name Kate after Kate Gosselin or Kate off of Days of Our Lives
I try not to judge people
I still despise the use of derogatory slang for different races (and will not accept it around my children)
I need to stop cursing
I am probably one of the moodiest people you know.....but at least I know it
I don't like infomercials
I love to do the grilling
I love to eat out
I love food!

Nolan Doing His Jig
I had to share this video. I usually put the girls down for their nap first. EVERY time the girls are in their beds (right before nap or right after) and Nolan goes in their room he does this little dance. It's the cutest thing! You can't really hear it, but he makes this noise with his nose while dancing.

Tips on How to Grow Healthy Babies
My local multiples group has a great forum and one of the most recent questions was tips on keeping babies cooking as long as possible. Here was my response. Thought it would be helpful to expectant mothers of multiples and even singletons :) You are important too!!! LOL.
Here are my tips on keeping those babies cookin' as long as possible! I was on strict bedrest (at home) for 19 weeks. I gave birth to three healthy babies at 34 weeks 1 day. They never saw the inside of the NICU. They were sent to the Level II nursery at the hospital where they had to learn how to eat and regulate their body temperature. They were released after 2 weeks. This is what worked for me...
DRINK LOTS OF WATER! I drank one gallon of water per day while preggers with my trio. If you don't like water ask your doctor or dietician what you can drink to stay hydrated. Staying hydrated is VERY important. It helps keep contractions to a minimum and keeps your uterus hydrated. Who doesn't want a hydrated uterus :) LOL.
PRAY! When I was pregnant and on bedrest with my triplets, we were blessed with family and friends (and complete strangers) who would pray daily for healthy babies. I believe in the power of prayer.
EAT/DRINK LOTS OF PROTEIN. This is almost as important as drinking water. I drank at least one protein shake per day. Protein shakes were the easiest way for me to get the daily amount of protein I needed. Some people might not like the taste of protein shakes.....they're pretty tasty with ice cold skim milk. And if you still don't like the taste of it.....plug your nose and gulp....it's not about you, it's about what's best for your babies :) Check with your doctor or dietician on how much protein you should be taking in per day.
TAKE IT EASY! Which doesn't always mean sitting down. It means laying down (left side is usually best). You want to take pressure off of your cervix. So laying down is the best position for this. Your number one job is to grow babies :)
STAY POSITIVE. Keep a posititve attitude! It's the only way you're going to get through it!
LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR. If your doctor tells you NOT to do something....listen to them. Strict bedrest doesn't mean throwing in a load of laundry every now and then or doing housework.
ACCEPT HELP. If you aren't able to do housework or if you have other children, if someone offers to help you.....always accept! You can return the favor down the road.
PLAY SCRABBLE! This was one of my addictions while on bedrest :) I also became addicted to Facebook and blogging. It kept my mind busy!
SEE A DIETICIAN. This is something I did at the beginning of my pregnancy. While it's very important to eat healthy and to eat enough calories to support your multiple pregnancy.....I didn't have the best diet while pregnant. So, if you have cravings for...ahem...Sonic cheeseburgers.....I don't think it will hurt to have one :)
I am not a doctor nor do I play one on t.v. These are strictly tips I'm sharing that worked for me. Always listen to your doctors!!! Happy growing healthy babies!!!

Our Weekend
Here's Kate in her new tutu. More on that later!

So, after our fun Friday night, we woke up and colored pictures and then watched daddy cut down two pine trees in the back yard. We're making room for a big play set, or hockey rink, or baseball/softball field - eventually. Maybe we could even put a pool out there? LOL.
Saturday night, Nancy came over and watched the kiddos while Brian and I went out to dinner. Ah, that was much needed! Kiddos had lots of fun. Thanks, Nancy, we love you!
We had a great weekend! We kicked off the weekend on Friday night with our weekly family movie/pizza night. Normally, we order pizza for the five of us and Brian and I watch a movie after the kids go to bed. But we decided to include the kiddos in this movie night! So, the five of us watched Up! Such a cute movie. The kids actually watched it! In some parts, they would get a little restless and want to go play.....but I would say they watched about 3/4 of it! Kate especially enjoyed it.

LOL.Sunday, we got up and daddy worked on the backyard a little more. Then grandma and grandpa came over for a visit. They brought BUBBLES and TUTUS!!! We had a blast playing outside with bubbles. Then we came inside and danced in our tutus. Well, the girls danced in their tutus. Nolan just danced. I will have to post more pics of the girls in their tutus soon! Grandma did a WONDERFUL job making the tutus. Very cute!

So, Brian and I actually got to get away by ourselves TWO days in a row! We went and bought a firepit while grandma and grandpa watched the kids. So, get your marshmallows ready......can't wait to get it set up!

By the time grandma and grandpa left, the kids were pretty worn out. Kate was pretty pooped. See the very first pic in this post.....she's in her tutu that grandma made her. I think she would have fallen asleep, but we had more to do! We went to a cookout with our twin friends B & K!

This is the only pic I took since my camera pooped out on me :(

So, we had a fun-filled weekend. Going to try to keep them busy this week too. We're going to the park tonight when daddy gets home. Tomorrow, we are going out to dinner with Kate and Ali's boyfriends B & K. Grandma and Grandpa T. are coming over Wednesday night! I'm trying to wear them out so they sleep a little better at night!

Rear Facing Car Seats - The New Recommendation
I've done my research on this subject and have become adamant about leaving my kids rear facing in the car for as long as possible.
