To Hibernate or Not.....Feedback Needed

Okay preemie mummies - and all other mommies too......what have you decided to do this RSV season since we've added H1N1 (Swine Flu) scare to it as well. Have you decided to keep the babies on total lockdown with visitors only? Are you going to go out sometimes but avoid large crowds or are you going to live life in normal mode??? I'm REALLY not looking forward to being a shut in again this RSV season, but I will do what I need to do for my kids. Let me know what you're going to do or what you've done in the past. Thanks to all mummies!

Lack of Updates : (

I can't believe I haven't updated my blog in almost a week! It's been a little busy around here. Check back soon, I will hopefully catch everyone up soon. Although our life isn't too exciting......I'm sure you enjoy seeing pics of the kiddos and want to know how they're doing. Talk soon!

This is the MAIN reason we are putting drywall on the ugly brick wall. I DISLIKE this entertainment center more than you know. This is all the kids do.......crawl up on it and they are constantly bumping their heads on it. CONSTANTLY. Alison has bumped her head on it at least three times today.....not kidding. She's really crabby right now. She slept in this morning until 9am so she hasn't had a morning nap. She looks like she's been in a cat fight. She scratched herself under her eye on and her cheek. AND we have family pictures on Saturday. Nolan looks like he's been attacked by the same cat - from his scratching. Alison scratched my nose the other day so it looks like the cat attacked me too! This family pic ought to look spectacular!!!! LOL.

Chillin' in our Jammies

Aren't the getting so big? Sorry I haven't posted much lately. I've been super busy with the Peoria Mothers of Twins fall sale. My parents watched the kiddos Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon. Nancy came to help out on Saturday. I was ready to be done with the sale : ) Sold all of the "big" stuff - all three car seats (tear), their pink Boppy bouncers, lots of clothes, etc. Thanks to everyone who helped us with the kiddos during our busy weekend. The kids and I decided to head to grandma and grandpa's house for the remainder of the weekend so Bri could work on the wall. Came back yesterday afternoon. Had a good time. Took the kids to their first Two By Two "concert". I enjoyed it, and I really think they did too. Nolan and Ali were clapping and "dancing". Cute.

Progress on "The Wall"

I forgot to take a "before" picture of the other side of the wall. But, I decided to have Brian put a pantry on one side of the chimney (where the old walk through was) and a small office nook on the other. I'm so excited for my pantry!!!! Woo hoo! It's amazing how different the dining room looks.

10 Month Pictures

I must admit, I did a horrible job on their 10 month pictures : ( I'm lucky they're cute, otherwise it would have been so much worse LOL. It really is getting difficult to photograph them now they're getting older. Whew, glad that is done!

Our Big Kid Jammies

Here we are in our new big kid jammies. Can you believe these are 18 month sizes??? Yikes! We've got some chunky monkeys on our hands : ) Nolan had to go to the doctor yesterday. He has an infection in his eye. They weighed him.......can you guess how much he weighs now??? Leave a comment.

It's Cute When.......

I've decided it's cute when your preemie poops on you for the first time.......not so much when they're 10 months old. YUCK! It's official, I'm sick of poop!!! And yet I've got LOTS more of it to come!!!

"The Wall"

On to ANOTHER "remodel" at the Liesen household. I know what you're thinking....poor Brian : ) But this is a MUCH needed renovation. We just purchased a flat screen television (finally) to mount above our fireplace. We live in a 1970s house which sports a LOVELY "Chicago Style" brick wall where the fireplace is. It is a huge eyesore and really dates the house. It has two openings on the sides - which in my opinion are completely useless. So, we decided to dry wall over the brick and close the openings. This will get rid of the bulky entertainment stand and tube television (which the kids fall on all the time). Hence more room for the kiddos to "run" around. Yay! And no more ugly brick. It's taking a little longer than anticipated.....doesn't it always though? TV was delivered today and it sits in its box : ( Will keep you updated. 2/3 of the monkeys are poopy : ) It's really smelly in here!

Our goal was $100 and we raised $125. Woo hoo! Do you notice anything "weird" on the kiddos t-shirts (below)? They gave us the wrong t-shirts! I've never been so happy to have the wrong t-shirt. Get it yet???

Baptism

Alison, Nolan and Kate were baptized this past Sunday. It was a wonderful service. Thanks to everyone who shared this beautiful event with us. We are so blessed to have such loving family and friends.
