All About Us

Nolan Foy is a mama's boy. He will lay there on his Boppy Lounger and just stare at me from across the room when I'm not sitting with him. Nolan is a little on the sensitive side. He can pretty much get me to do anything just by looking at me with those beautiful blue eyes. His smile just melts my heart. Everything about him is BOY. He looks like a boy in every way. There's no mistaken! He has large hands for being such a little boy. And he LOVES to be held.....especially by his mama. I would say he's changed the most out of the three since birth. He is really solid and he's caught up to his sisters in weight, and then some! I can't even remember the last time he hasn't finished a bottle. He likes to eat and when he's really hungry....watch out! His nicknames are peanut and noly roly poly.

Alison Taylor is a good baby and a daddy's girl. And I don't mean Kate and Nolan aren't good babies, I just mean that she is not very fussy at all. She sleeps a lot and is very "independent" and extremely laid back. Alison is a very happy baby. When she smiles at me with that crooked smile......it brings tears to my eyes. She pretty much only cries when she's starving and can usually keep herself occupied by sucking on her hands while mommy gets the bottles ready. I love to watch her try to suck her thumb. She's almost got it down. Alison is "thick" like her mama and has her daddy's "bubble" butt. It's a cute butt at that! Alison's nicknames are Ali and Ali Bear.
Kate Lynlea loves to smile. Especially when you tell her Aunt Karen is going to take her shopping for shoooes when she gets older. She also thinks it's funny when you tell her she pooped and she's stinky! She's got big blue eyes that light up when you talk to her. She's a daddy's girl! Kate is a little on the fussy side, but she's gotten a lot better! I am holding her as I type this right now because she woke up screaming. (Yes, I'm very talented). As you can see in this picture below, when she smiles big, she likes to stick her tongue out. Kate is most content on her belly. She is the ruler of the household.....but that's okay. Kate's nickname is "Kate Kate".

I absolutely love being a mom. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I am the happiest I've ever been. I am so lucky to be a mom to these three beautiful children. I thank God every day for these wonderful little babies. We waited a very long time for them.......they were well worth the wait. It's a dream come true.......and I still can't believe it!

Shame on Drew!

I had gotten up from feeding the babies this morning and looked down to see Drew sleeping in the babies' new play gym that Grandma and PaPa had just bought for them! Little stinker!

Our Anniversary and Thank You

Our 6th wedding anniversary was on Saturday. I wanted to give a big thanks to all of our "babysitters". We had six babysitters in two different shifts. We had Grandpa and Grandma D and Aunt Karen for the day shift. Then we had "Aunt" Nancy and Grandma and PaPa for the second shift. Bri and I got to go shopping all day at the outlets in Tuscola. We came home for a baby fix and went back out for a nice dinner. It was wonderful to have time alone with my husband, but I missed the babies like crazy. And boy was I tired by the time we got home! I hadn't really been out that much since I've been off of bed rest and had the babies. My feet still hurt!! So, anyway....wanted to say THANK YOU very much from all five of us for taking such good care of the babies on Saturday! They told me they had a really great time....hee hee. You must have wore them out because they slept REALLY well last night. We fed them around 8:45pm last night so they went to bed around 9:30pm........they didn't wake up to eat until 4:00am! WOW! That is a record! I had to go in and check on them a couple of times.....I was a little concerned. But they slept SO well!

I personally think this is so darn cute. Some might find it offensive......but it's Kate pooping. I only caught the tail end of her doing her deed.....but you get the idea. It's the grunting at the very beginning that is so cute. You can here me towards the end saying "OH MAN". That is me smelling what she just did. WHOA! STINKY! Enjoy!

Thank Goodness for Aunts!

This is our Aunt Diane. She buys us lots of stuff and comes over and gives us great big lovins. She's the mommy of our "fur" cousins Roscoe and Sherman. We love our Aunt Diane.

This is our Aunt Janice. She helped out when we were in the hospital. She's the mommy of our three cousins, Brock, Jenna and Parker. We love our Aunt Janice.

This is our Aunt Karen. She is going to take us shopping for SHOES when we get older. She's the mommy of our cousin Connor. We love our Aunt Karen.

We took a bunch of family pics yesterday. I'm not very photogenic, so I'm not going to share any with you..........but I had to share this one. Look at Nolan in this pic.....he's in the middle and he's looking up at Bri and I kissing. I thought it was adorable!

Guess Who is the Biggest!

You are not going to believe it.....Nolan weighs more than his sisters. Our little peanut is getting so big! The three went to the doctor this morning. They had their 2 month shots : ( I think I did worse than they did. Kate and Nolan cried a little but little Miss Ali cried a lot. She was not having it!!! Everyone checked out just fine. All doing great!!! Woo Hoo! They go back in March for their 4 month check up. HOPEFULLY nobody will have to go back before then : )
