We had a great weekend! We kicked off the weekend on Friday night with our weekly family movie/pizza night. Normally, we order pizza for the five of us and Brian and I watch a movie after the kids go to bed. But we decided to include the kiddos in this movie night! So, the five of us watched Up! Such a cute movie. The kids actually watched it! In some parts, they would get a little restless and want to go play.....but I would say they watched about 3/4 of it! Kate especially enjoyed it.
So, after our fun Friday night, we woke up and colored pictures and then watched daddy cut down two pine trees in the back yard. We're making room for a big play set, or hockey rink, or baseball/softball field - eventually. Maybe we could even put a pool out there? LOL.
Saturday night, Nancy came over and watched the kiddos while Brian and I went out to dinner. Ah, that was much needed! Kiddos had lots of fun. Thanks, Nancy, we love you! Sunday, we got up and daddy worked on the backyard a little more. Then grandma and grandpa came over for a visit. They brought BUBBLES and TUTUS!!! We had a blast playing outside with bubbles. Then we came inside and danced in our tutus. Well, the girls danced in their tutus. Nolan just danced. I will have to post more pics of the girls in their tutus soon! Grandma did a WONDERFUL job making the tutus. Very cute!
So, Brian and I actually got to get away by ourselves TWO days in a row! We went and bought a firepit while grandma and grandpa watched the kids. So, get your marshmallows ready......can't wait to get it set up!
By the time grandma and grandpa left, the kids were pretty worn out. Kate was pretty pooped. See the very first pic in this post.....she's in her tutu that grandma made her. I think she would have fallen asleep, but we had more to do! We went to a cookout with our twin friends B & K!

Tomorrow, we are going out to dinner with Kate and Ali's boyfriends B & K. Grandma and Grandpa T. are coming over Wednesday night! I'm trying to wear them out so they sleep a little better at night!

The boyfriends B & K cannot WAIT to see their sweet ladies again Tuesday night! I need to be better about doing fun things like movie night and coloring pics-what a good mama you are!
